Venue: Superbowl, Marina Square
The first IPA bowling tournament saw a total of 23 participants forming 7 teams of 3-4 people each. Everyone who turned up enjoyed themselves at the bowling session and it was a great time for interaction and making new friends.
Champions of the tournament went to Team STRIKERS, consisting of Mr. Fernando Tjia, Ms Tan Tan Simokar (aka Mrs Tjia), and Mr. Stanley Invanio. Congratulations!

There were three types of wine introduced, two reds and one white. Our guest speaker has a vast experience in the wine industry and explained each wine while participants enjoyed drinks and learned to differentiate the fragrance, taste and feel of the drinks. They also learnt the basics of wine appreciation, such as how to hold the glass and how to taste with different parts of the tongue.

July 14, 2000 was a special and memorable day for IPA. With the support from more than 220 people who attended the gathering at York Hotel, IPA officially opened a new page for this society.
The event was a tremendous success, with the overwhelming response surprising even the committees. The event started with a speech by our honorable guest speaker, Mr. Ong Hoon Meng, Managing Director of IBM Singapore. He pointed out the importance of foreign talents in Singapore

Dr Agus Susanto made a presentation to inform members of the vision, objectives, and services that Indonesian Professionals’ Association intended to provide.
The evening then continued with a Halloween Party, hosted by Mr. Trevor Pereira from Ritz Events Management Consultant. Dancing closed the night with everyone having a good time laughing and making new friends.

IPA’s first ever Christmas Party was celebrated in a lively, cheerful mood. There were a lot of food to eat, games to participate in, and prizes to win.
