Celebrating the Indonesian 57th Independence Day, IPA Singapore proudly presented a talk with Mr. Wimar Witoelar, the spokesman of ex-president Gus Dur, bundled with a high tea gathering.
About 40 people attended the event that started from 3.30pm till 6pm. The event was started with chit-chatting and exchanging of name cards. At about 4pm, the event was opened with a meal.
Mr. Feca opened the speech and introduced all IPA committees, followed by Vice President, Mr. Johny The, who gave an introduction of IPA Singapore.

A total of 42 people attended the event. A short presentation was given by Mr. Steve Chan, the president of 3-T consulting on the subject of Entrepreneurism. He shared his views on how he started his consulting firm, characters of success as well as issues that are important to consider if you plan to start your own business.
Following his short presentation, high tea was served with a steady flow of dim sum delicacies. A networking session followed soon after with name cards exchanged and chitchatting among the attendees.

To celebrate a belated Chinese New Year, IPA organised a BBQ-cum-Loh Hei party at East Coast Singapore.
The BBQ started with a relatively quiet atmosphere with everyone busy eating and enjoying the chicken wings, pork chops, satay, gado-gado and kerupuks. A total of 45 people attended the party. As usual, participants were chatting and exchanging name cards.

More than 20 IPA members and non-members participated in this event to discover the great taste of Australian wine. Three red wines and two white wines were served while our wine expert for the night explained the details on those wines.

After the successful financial planning event by Citibank in April this year, we organised another talk and invited United Overseas Bank (UOB) Life to present a topic on financial planning. This time, it focused on CPF savings and how we can maximise this fund and use it for investment and protection.

The Red Cross International Bazaar was intended to raise S$500,000 fund for the Home for the Disabled, Hostel of the Handicapped, Blood Donor Recruitment Program etc. This large-scale event was held at the Padang starting from 10am to 8pm.
IPA participation in the Bazaar was a resounding success. IPA sold used books, CDs, small teddy bears and coffee sponsored by Indocafe. The response was so good that before the end of the day, almost everything was sold and we had to call it a day by 6pm.
