About 50 participants attended this lunch. Pak Anton Widjaja, Managing Director of Es Teler 77 Juara Int'l joined us to share his stories, experiences and knowledge in the food industry. It was an informal and personal conversation with the man who built up this franchise in Singapore, currently with a total of 7 establishments in this country.

His never-say-die spirit impressed participants, who were amazed that the MD had gone through such hardships. This inspirational talk definitely motivated many.

A few interesting quotes that he gave were the "Rambo Style" of business, which requires the minimum amount of weapons to win the battle, while "James Bond Style" is very much more applicable to large corporations with tonnes of resources, planning and strategies to defeat the enemies.
